In materials science we had the chance to experiment with glass. In this subject I created jewelry from parts that I had processed with the glass cutter. I made sure that the elements did not look too similar and differ in color and size. Then I attached cords and threads, which I attached with the help of glue. I used other glass elements to design coasters. For this I used old plastic lids as a mold, which I then filled with the glass elements and epoxy resin. After the mass dried I was able to easily remove the molds and sand down the sharp edges of the coasters.
