We took the subject of sculptural design together with the first and fifth semesters. A total of 8 groups of 10-15 people each worked on organ concepts for the Audimax concert hall at the University of Regensburg. My group followed the approach of an organ reminiscent of basalt cones. We focused on integrating the organ well into the concert hall. At the beginning of the project we met with professors from the University for Catholic Church Music and Music Education in Regensburg and also with a local organ builder. So we gathered knowledge on which we based our first sketches and drafts.
